Additionally, extensive meetings are conducted to discuss the business side of being a stunt performer. This is one of the most valuable aspects of the training, as students will learn how to get hired and how to effectively advance their careers. These meetings will cover such topics as:

RESUMES
JOINING SAG/AFTRA
NETWORKING
SET PROTOCOLS

As an integral part of the training, portions of the fundamental training are filmed in a "hot set" environment with a camera and monitor utilized to show the participants where they have played the camera successfully and where they need to focus more. This individual critique the students receive on their performance has proven to substantially improve their performance while giving them a perspective of what stunt coordinators are looking for.

Safety is the utmost concern throughout the entire course as students learn to look dangerous without putting themselves or others at undue risk. The Utility Stunt Training Course is not a casual summer camp environment, nor is it a boot camp. It is a professional oriented training facility intended as a means whereby individuals can explore their potential in a demanding occupation which has its many rewards and, at times, physical risks. As in all of our trainings, discipline is required and a professional attitude is expected, even while having fun.

Interested parties should keep in mind that the training fills to capacity every year. There are a limited number of spaces and the demand for those spaces is increasing annually. Classes become filled by around June 1st. Participants are encouraged to communicate via phone or email as soon as possible to expedite their interest in the training. We urge our international applicants to contact us months in advance of departure to the U.S. so we can help you move through the immigration process more smoothly. Enrollment is limited to those individuals who are 18 years and older.

If you have specific questions about any part of the training, feel free to contact us via telephone or email. We welcome the opportunity to exchange information first hand as we too want to know more about you and how you might fit into the training program. We make every effort to screen each student to inform them as to what they should expect from us and what we will expect from them.

More specific information concerning class scheduling, airport pickups, rules and regulations, required equipment, facilities, housing, food, parking, and more are detailed in an information packet sent via email to all of our attending participants. Please note that the information packets are only given to those individuals who have signed up for the training and have paid their deposit.
